Each year, the Journal of Intellectual Property Law hosts a conference highlighting a special topic of Intellectual Property Law. The conference is open to the public and features panels of legal scholars, practitioners, and experts in the specific field.

2020 Conference: The IP of IPAs

This year’s conference, inspired by Shivani Patel’s student Note, featured panelists who discussed various intellectual property law issues that Georgia Breweries face — such as trademarking, copyrighting, and protecting trade secrets associated with craft beers. Panelists included the President of Terrapin Beer Company, the Co-founder of Southern Brewing Company, and of counsel to Taylor, Feil, Harper, & Lumsden, P.C.
